Whew, where has time gone?

One day I'm in New Orleans, the next I'm shooting a Maternity Session, then it's Thanksgiving, and here I am sitting in the (almost) middle of December backlogged on Christmas Card designs, editing for said Christmas Card family photos, designing albums, and doing that fun thing called getting my act together now for tax season in four months.

I love having my own business, and I never thought I would be that person. But, it gets a little sticky for me because come December things get CRAZY, though, because of it all. Especially seeing as I do this and work full-time in a demanding role at a pretty amazing university here in Nashville. Last year I spent the first three weeks of November balancing by sleeping all of three hours a night and doing very little in the way of cooking/working out/breathing/and all those other things that fill me up. This year, I'm working on a better balance and because of that the blog has been getting no lovin' whatsoever.

But that will change soon. And so to give myself some accountability I wanted to let you all in on the highlights of what will be coming weeks as we draw closer to the close of the year.
